Sleeps up to 4 persons
Dunstanburgh View is a two bedroom cottage that sleeps up to four persons. As well as a newly redesigned kitchen layout, we have also added a new porch/conservatory which is south and west facing, making the most of the sun all year round. As well as the usual appliances, the well equipped kitchen, which looks out onto the rear garden, has a washer/dryer, microwave and DAB radio. Your kitchen has a dining area for you to enjoy your meals.
The cosy sitting room now boasts a sturdy log burner to keep guests toasty and warm whatever the weather! Yout TV has Freeview and a DVD player is available. A BT hub provides your WiFi and internet access. The Snug Room now also has a TV/Freeview/DVD player with a comfortable sofa and chair – ideal for the kids to use for their own Playstation/X-box/DVDs or just a quiet room for a read or a snooze.
The family bathroom is on the ground floor. This comprises of a washbasin, toilet and bath with overhead shower. A shaver point is also available in the bathroom. Upstairs there is a Kingsize bedroom and a twin bedroom, both with built in wardrobe space. From the twin bedroom and the landing windows, you have views of the coastline, heughs and Dunstanburgh Castle in the distance.
There is private, off-road parking for your car. Our new small conservatory, which is attached to the kitchen is lovely even on a cooler day, as it is south & west facing and catches the sun all day. It’s also an ideal place to leave sandy shoes.
We now provide lovely Christy bath sheets and hand towels for your use, so hopefully that will leave more space in your suitcase! A generous welcome pack on arrival includes wine, homemade marmalade, homemade shortbread and a few basics (semi skimmed milk, eggs etc).
A travel cot and a highchair are both available and should be requested on booking please. Your first basket of logs is free and after that, it is £5.00 per basket and will be delivered to your door on request. Gas central heating provides extra warmth should you prefer not to use the log burner.
