Covid-19

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement last night, we will not be re-opening the caravan park or cottages until further notice.

COVID-19 Response – Update to Businesses

The Government has been clear on the need not to undertake unnecessary travel and to socially distance in your own home. Northumberland Tourism fully supports the official advice to stay home and stay safe. We all have a responsibility – visitors, tourism businesses and residents – to heed government advice and help save lives.

We are asking people to postpone visiting Northumberland until a later date due to the implications that the influx of visitors would have on this rural county: the heightened risk of spreading the virus, the added pressure on public services and supermarkets, the disturbance to farmland and the risk to farmers who are in the middle of lambing season.

Anyone postponing their visit will find the county just as welcoming and just as staggering at a later date.

Anybody with concerns over their own health, or any questions about the Coronavirus, please use the NHS website. Regular updates from the UK Government can be found here.”

If you are still unsure of guidelines, please read the following

Please take care of yourselves and we hope to see our loyal customers again very soon.
